Well, as of my last appointment I have stopped gaining weight, and am 1 cm dialated (but my doc said upon getting up there a little further that internally I am dialated a little more), cervix is still thick and baby still posterior. That was last Thursday. Unsure this week yet if I am dialated further or effaced further since my next appointment is this Thursday.

Have been having more intense Braxton Hicks that last longer, usually about 45-60 seconds but still VERY irregular for the past 2 weeks (irregular meaning I will have them every 15 minutes, then every 7, then nothing for 2 or 3 hours, then one painful one, then nothing, and so on and so on...) and instead of being painless, I have achiness going across my lower abdomen and in my bum when they come. I also had a killer backache last night that nothing could alleviate, but has since gone away over night, and now this week also cramps that feel like I have my period.

Does it sound as if I am getting closer? Did anyone feel like this before labor, or how did your labor start? It's hard to walk since my feet and ankles swell at the drop of a dang hat these days, but would it help to bounce on the medicine ball? Would that kick things up or help to thin out my cervix? My doctor said anytime now, but I have no clue what I'm looking for since I was induced last time in such a controlled enviroment lol. Please tell me I'm getting closer! lol!

I have lots of aches this week that wernt there last weekk.. but I think thats just cos I am getting huge.
