Movement

Hello

I'm 2 weeks exactly off my due date today, really excited.

The baby has been moving none stop for ages, even at night but i woke up this morning and the baby has been really quite, there is some movement but it's not loads like usual.

Is this normal?

I don't know if it's normal but my LO is very active. I think it's just what you do/eat etc. Or just them having some active time!

1-1.5wk before my duedate she went totally crazy again lol

Hi hun,
Eat some chocolate and drink a fizzy drink and see if that helps ..

..on Friday my LO didn't move once until 6pm and then it was only odd movements (im due a week tomorow) and now he's very quiet.
Just keep a eye and try to count 10 a day .. but if your at all worried phone your MW to get your mind put at rest hun xxx

i've phoned the midwife at the hospital cos my midwife isn't anwsering her phone and the women said as long as you get 10 movements a day then it's normal but it isn't normal for my baby, it normally moves none stop but today it just hasn't.
She said to ring back later if it hasn't moved anymore.

I feel stupid bothering them if it's just nothing but you never know.
My OH thinks i should ring back later just to get it checked anyway.

My lo has been really active lately, but did have a day a couple of days ago where there wasn't as much movement there was still more than 10 movements a day though so I didnt worry too much and then by the next day was all back to normal and she hasn't stayed still since.

But if it is something thats worrying you then it is definitely best to get it checked, even if turns out to be nothing at least it will put your mind at ease.

i would ring back and tell them it isn't normal for your baby! they should have you monitored if only to out your mind at rest! if its any concellation then my baby had very strong violent movements but over the last week he has been much quieter, i think its something to do with not having as much room.

hope everythings ok but i would ring them again xx
