hi girls... this is going to be a long one!

at 28wks i got told my BP was high (129/84). i had been getting severve headaches too and the MW went mad and said i should have seen her earlier. but urine clear and baby ok. but she changed my appointments to every 2wks instead of every 4 to keep a eye on me.

at 30wks my BP had stayed the same (129/84) and urine clear. so she wasent worried but said i will see you in 2wks.

at 32wks my BP had gone high (138/8 and she also found protien in my urine. i had been experiencing severe headaches (again!) seeing stars, also i had slight oedema (swelling). the MW said its still in its limits (i think your BP has to 140 before they do anything or call it pre eclampsia)

so today at my 34wk appt my BP has gone up yet again (140/80) i have protien and swelling. my headaches havent been has bad tho but i have been having visual disturbances. also she felt my bump and said oh my good god shes low down and said bumps 4/5ths engaged!! (shes been head down since 28wks and in same position).

she also gave me a fetal movement chart cos i havent been feeling bump move much. she said my BP is now borderline and has changed my appointments to every week.

what do you all think? has anyone else been in this position? sorry for the long post i just hope someone can help me on this one.

Well my bump is 3/5 engaged the 3 meaning she can feel 3/5 of her head and only 2/5 is down so Im assuming for you she can feel 4/5 of bubs head and only 1/5 is down and from what I read that can change either way!

Pre-eclampsia! well no personal experience but I was under the impression you needed to be seen not just MW care! I had protein in my water last weeks and she sent the test off!
