water infection


Does anyone know if having a water infection during pregnancy can harm the baby ?

midwife said she will treat it when i go and see her next but thats 3 weeks time

I would go before - maybe to your GP? I wouldn't want to put up with a water infection for that long!!
I had one early on in 2nd tri, went to my GP who gave me some antibiotics. x

You should definitely get an infection treated sooner rather than later as it could develop into a full on kidney infection and then you will know all about it!!

Also, infections can cause preterm labour so get some antibiotics a.s.a.p

Infections can lead to pre-term labour and Kidney problems if not treated.I would get yourself checked by your GP asap.Cant believe your MW is happy to leave it 3 weeks!!.x
