I'm Currently Feeling: | Grrrr, Old people can really annoy me!!!
They (although not all) think they can talk however they want to anyone, it does my head in! I would never say anything to an old person as I used to think 'no have respect' but now I think sod it they should have respect for me too!
I was walking through town the other day with my pram and some grumpy old man was blocking up the pavement with his bike so I said excuse me to him and he just looked at me and then looked at the pram and didn't move sorammed through (a tiny space) and rolled over his foot! He looked at me and went 'thanks for running me over!' So I told him if he had his bike on the road (where it should be) or moved when I asked politely I wouldn't have "ran him over!" Grrr Idiot, the old women are worse than the men though - they think everyone should get out their way's!
Ahhhhhhhhhh, don't get me started!!!!!!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I know exactly what you mean. When I was heavily pregnant id get 2 trains to my boyfriends house every week/other week with a bag of my stuff and no one would let me sit down, young, old, no one. The second train was about a 45 minute, bumpy journey, and I would be aching so much by the end of it. They all stare at you, they know you're pregnant because of the blatant tummy sticking out, yet they still don't bother offering you a seat.. it's so rude. On one of the journeys, I was stuck in the walkthrough (between the 2 carridges) with about 6 other people (it was packed) but one woman said "you need a seat!!" and demanded someone let me sit down.
Just ask someone to move, if I was pregnant again now I think id be a little more abrupt. I know you made this thread about old people, but I needed a rant lol. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Old people really do my head in sometimes, they bang on about respecting your elders, which i have been brought up to do, but some of them have no manners and think they can do and say whatever they like. It is so annoying!! |
