I'm Currently Feeling: | Good luck with your scan, at least they are checking what is going on!
If you think your dates are different to what they say, it may just be that you are right & baby is really due the 19th!!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Good luck with your scan. They will be able to pick every thing up including babys estimated weight at the time..
I had to have a scan at 36 weeks as i was measuring 41, when I was measured yesterday i'm measuring 38 again which is spot on.

I'm Currently Feeling: | good luck with ur scan--- dont worry about measuring large--- i've been since 22 weeks and always 2-3 weeks ahead ===im getting mine checked friday--the large for dates ultrasound-i'll let u know how it goes---
have they checked ur glucose--- they say that if u developed gestational diabetes the baby will be larger than usual---with me they tested me for it like two weeks ago and everything came back clear and now the ultrasound will be reassurance.. besides all along they have had my dates all screwwy as i was originally due new years and now they have me down for feb. 12th
anyway---good luck---hope everything works out for u ====also could u be measuring larger as a result of swelling ---ive had a lot of swelling so i'm going with too much fluid for me===
i also read somewhere that the fundal height measurements are less accurate after 30-32 weeks esp. after baby drops into head down position and that even just his/her position can make u seem bigger/smaller on certain days depending on when they measure u |

I'm Currently Feeling: | went for my scan, wasnt very helpful, the woman said she wasnt going to measure the baby just the amniotic fluid to make sure its ok, it was fine and ive got to go back next wed to make sure its still ok, but she said if its ok it just means that the babies big or my dates are wrong but its just tough kinda thing haha, so im gutted because i really wanted to know if i should be expecting earlier or if im having a wopping baby ha! dissapointed really! but i suppose aslong as shes ok is the main thing :s xxx | | | | Status: Offline

and to answer ur ques. about baby head being far down---at 29 weeks mine was hard to see his face---i had to turn on my side so she could get a look at his face he was facing my back and head down --- making it hard to get a pic and even then we didnt get a shot of his whole face just the side or most of it--- so ya i think its completely normal to not get a good shot of the face at 32 weeks |
