Breastfed babies don't usually get constipated. Typically they have very runny, sweet smelling pooh!
-I could still get a little milk at that point, so I started leting him latch on (He'd latch on himself, it wasn't that I knew what I was doing!) whilst still bottle feeding, as I needed to build my milk supply up. It was a real gradual process as when I first started breast feeding I hadn't commited to it, it was a bit of an experiment really! - I also hoped we could succsessfully combine breast and bottle feeding, so wanted to keep up the bottles for when in company, but in the end he did refuse bottles.
- With both babies they have both been very good at latching on, so I've not had any pain or sore nipples. However my sister had very sore, painful nipples which she attributes to her baby (Pre-mature) not latching on properly. It does really hurt if they are sucking the wrong part, so you can tell when something isn't right!
Que sera sera and all that! lol | I hope I don't get the sore nips lol
Your lil girl take to the breat ok then - you doing ok this time? |
