Help!!

My midwives have messed about telling me when I should go to my appointments that they have totally mess up big time now.

I phoned the community centre this morning thats local to me to book a appaoitment for Wednesday as they only make a visit there every other Wednesday.

Now the last time i saw any body was on 12th November in which I had a home visit. They then told me to phone and book an appointment for this week leaving me at 38+5 weeks by the time wednesday comes round, only when I called the community centre told me they were not due back again until the 5th December which would leave me at 39+5 so i wont have seen a MW for FOUR WEEKS, which is totally no good to me as im supposed to be seeing some one every two weeks now.

Im in total panic i really dont know what to do. Im so fed up with the service I have received from them throughout my whole pregnancy. Im sick to the back teeth.

I don't want to leave it until 5th December before I see any one as that is two days before im due and I think four weeks with out being seen by a MW is disgraceful.

So I phoned the MW office first thing this morning and left my name number etc like it asks for to see about arranging a home visit. I have not yet received a call..

I really dont know what to do and im starting to get worried.

Any suggestions what I do now?

i would phone your ANC too, i have phoned them a couple of times and ask to be seen, they were really good about it and saw me quickly.

Id complain about your level of community MW care if your not happy with it

Thats the trouble. There is no real anti natal clinic round here. Not that I know of any way, The midwives say to call their office and thats what I did. The place I call to make the appointments is just a community centre on an estate, so theres nothing they can do for me.

Im frantic now with worry.

Thanks any ways wobbs.

ANC should be in your local hospital - Mine being where bubs will be born. At the back of my Bounty notes there is a sheet of paper with my local numbers like labour ward, ANC, etc It should be the same with your bounty book to I'd have thought BabyBean. Failing that ring the labour ward or even the hospital main desk and ask. Everywhere should have a local ANC.

Yeah. They also told me to contact the midwife office.

No one wants to know. I really dont know what to do, Maybe I should just wait until next week but surely thats endangering baby as she wont have been monitored for almost 4 weeks.
