I'm Currently Feeling: | sorry Layla, only just got back online
I had a fair few twinges but nothing happened. I had a sweep after 10 days, overdosed on pineapple (not doig that again after reading its the wrong enzyme - doh), ate spicy stuff etc etc. She cameout when she wanted, just hope this little one isn't as stubborn as their sister | | | | Status: Offline

| Thanks
Im not bothering with the pinapples, not sure about teh emzine thing but i heard you have to eat a hell of a lot for it to work anyway, currys dont work on me either lol
Im just going to sit back and relax now, i do want him out but not coz im fed up of being pregnant, its more for the xmas thing, but what will be will be, he will come when he is ready
I think i will go kind of the same way as Coby, for a week leading up to his induction i was having contractions on and off that didnt go in to anything....last night i was having braxton kicks every 4 mins and with each one i had very strong pressure in my bum, after a few hours they stopped tho.

| Thanks
I have been getting the pressure pains all morning but since i slept this afternoon they have all gone now, im going to take it as a good sign, altho i was induced on Coby i know that i had them for a week leading up to his birth, and the induction worked very quick so he must of been ready to come out on his own anyway if that makes sense, so hopefuly only a week left, i went at 39 weeks on my older 2 children aswell

I'm Currently Feeling: | I find it realy hard to realise if my body is actualy preparing for labour as i really dont appear to have been having any braxton hicks. Ive had a few uncomfortable twinges but not sure if thats with the pressure of baby. Some times have light cramps but again. Could be baby laying on a nerve.
I duno. Im due friday 7th and see the doctor on Wednesday 12th.
Im also seeing the MW on the 5th so hopefully she may shed some more light. I might mention about a sweep if i dare as my legs are starting to give up I think. They almost crumbled on the stairs earlier. i saw my life flash before me lol.
Some times my tummy becomes tense. Is that any thing related. Its not painful or anything and it dosent do it in stages. Just randomly becomes tense.
Also last night... I know this may be TMI and im sorry if it is , just want to know if its normal, after i'd been to the toilet and wiped there was a stringy discharge on the tiisue but only a very small amount nothing at all substantial and it was as clear as day so im unsure of it being a small amount of my mucas plug as it didnt look like what the midwives described as a show. Can any one shed any light on the equastion? |

hun thats a braxton hicks, they dont hurt but they do make your tummy go tense and hard for a few seconds or mintues, they can be very uncomfy indeed towards the end coz they get more freqent and stronger.
Also the doischarge thing does sound like it could be your plug, not everyone has it come away in one go, i had some the other day, some more last night and again more today, its like clear/creamy snot lol, thats the only way i can describe it. It can either be clear, creamy, pinkish or brown, it can come away in one go/clump or in stages over a few days.
Sounds like your on your way, your cervix must be getting ready
