I used mine to bounce on whilst I watched telly, usually with my belly hanging out too lol.

And when I was in labour I had a lot of back pain and it was great, just rocked back and forth and rolled around. Even sat by myself at 3.00am in the nice cool dark family room at hospital bouncing and rocking away on my trusty ball.

Definately reccomend them.

I was bouncing on it a couple of times shortly before due date, but did as well a lot of moving (buzzing around in the flat or going for a walk outside).

I know, you do not feel like doing it at this stage anymore, but it helps baby coming down and setting off labour!

I planned to use the birth ball in early labour as well, but then found it is just better for me to stand through a contraction and at its peak I leaned on the table in our living room!

You can get them for £4.99 from Argos. Someone said they were £3 in Asda but I haven't seen any recently. x
