Hello everyone!!
I have been lurking around here for the past month reading through the posts and I decided it was about time I introduced myself!
I am a 32 (33 in Dec) yr old female (obviously! lol) from Alberta, Canada.
I have 3 children, 2 boys and 1 daughter and I am expecting baby number 4, another GIRL!!!
Yay!!
I am 30 weeks along and already feel like I've been pregnant forever!!!
It's kinda funny how my emotions will teeter back and forth with this pregnancy since I don't remember feeling this way with my other ones.
One moment I feel so anxious to have this baby and an hour later I will feel like its happening way too fast and I feel so unprepared for it!
I had my 3 other children all by c-section so this one will be a planned c-sections as well, the surgery will supposedly be scheduled about 10 days before my due date but my last baby was born 1 month early so there is the risk of my going into labour early again.
I am due January 31, 2008 so hope this little one waits until after holidays before deciding to arrive.
My younger children (aged 12, 9 and 3) are sooo eager to meet their new sister and couldn't be sweeter, more caring and considerate!
Of course they still have their moments as any normal children do BUT its almost like they have taken the parenting role, always telling me to sit down and rest, dont do this or that and offering to massage my back!! lol
Hubby works away from home and only comes home every 2 weeks or so but he will be taking time off when the little one arrives to take care of me and whatever else needs to be done.
I do have a sister staying with me while hubbys away to help out and be here "just in case" so thats a bonus.
I could write so much more but I think I have made my introduction a bit long already so I guess that should be enough for now.
Anyway hope to get to know you all a bit better and be able to contribute to the posts and discussions here, from what I have read so far this seems to be a fantastic place to connect with other expectant mothers!!
