Sharp pains in lower tummy

Hi ladies

Every so often I get a really big sharp pain just above my pubic bone on the left - do you think it could be LO moving and hitting a nerve or something?? All of her other movements are fine but this hurts, been like this for a couple of days now!!!

I get a feeling similar to this, mine is like right on the cervix. One week the doctor told me it was pubic symphsis (sp?) stretching and then the next week the nurse midwife told me it was baby pushing down on my cervix. Either way its the body getting ready for labor. I've had them so frequently now whenever I walk on sit on something soft I get them so who even knows!

I had something similar. My doc told me it was the utetus moving into the right position to give birth, apparently it has to pivit slightly and the ligaments that are holding it in postion are streching and thats whats causing the pain.
