It could be a mixture of things, I get the twitchy eye thing when I haven't had enough sleep, and I'm guessing with you being so far along your not getting as good nights sleep as before, so that could be it. But, I do know that seeing spots can be an early sign of pre-eclampsia due to bloody pressure changes so it might pay to mention it to your Midwife at your next appointment.

Hope that helps a little hun,

Naimi xx

im not sure but I think your eyes are more sensitive and your supposed to get them checked and stuff. So maybe it could be do with you being pregnant.

I've just clicked on to what its likely to be. I'm aneamic at the min and taking iron tablets. Black spots can be a symptom of iron deficiency. Will mention to MW on mon but pretty sure that will be the cause. x

I was also seeing a lot of floating black dots and was put on iron tablets so yeah, that could be what it is.

It says here - http://www.eyecarebasics.com/eye-car...in-the-eye.htm - that they're more common in pregnant women, although it doesn't really say why.
