Wow Marley you're so calm and relaxed about it - good on you.

I had a sweep then my hind waters broke about 4 hours later, then 6 hours after that I started getting contractions then whoosh all my waters went 5 hours after that.

Not sure I'll have a sweep this time though, Olivia was back to back and when all my waters went meant her spine was against mine as nothing cushioning and think i'd like to avoid that this time.

Hope baby comes today marley. Your Lil one must be too comfy in there where its nice and warm. My MW worried me the other day as I am only 4ft 11 with size 2 feet so I was concerned I may need a C section so she sent me to see a consultant at the hospital to speak about an induction date. He told me that the baby only grows to the size of me and to wait until im 14 days overdue if I can as being induced makes labour pains worse and he recommended I had an epidural.
Went to see my MW tuesday and she has booked me in for a sweep next tuesday but I dont want to have it done now. Thought my waters had broken yesterday but I had wet myself and had a bug. I felt sooo embarrassed.

Do you feel like you have been kicked in the crutch as that is how I feel but no real contractions as yet.

Believe it or not, I actually had a show today! I was also getting tightnings for a while (weren't really painful enough to be called contractions) but they've stopped for the moment. Here's hoping that things get moving over the next day or so.

Good for you standing your ground, My waters broke 9 days overdue so I was induced at 14 days and had a horrendous 3 days of labour and being messed about by the nurses.
As long as your happy and baby is happy I really think your doing the right thing Fingers crossed.
