im consultant care.

It dependes on your hosital i think, at my last hospital you couldnt have a water birth coz the pool was only in the midwife lead center, but in the hospital im going to this time the pool is shared by both, so i can have a water birth if i want

I'm so so consultant care! He passed me back to MW care but any problems etc etc Ive to go straight to see him.

I was interested in a home birth and the MW laughed at me. Said to ask my consultant because my history which baffled me because my history is MCs not anything that is a problem for birth anyway asked him and he basically laughed in my face too *sigh*. I am allowed to use the birthing pool at the hospital though.

Im consultant lead care although Im still to meet him, Its going to be January before I do.
I was told by the labour ward manager that IF I manage to have a natural birth I wont have to be overly monitored, and will be free to stand squat etc as long as vital stats/obs are all within range.
Although, it may be a possibility I may have to have another section. I had one with Charlotte due to her being back to back and me not being able to get her any further than I did. Its all going to be a bit of a waiting game I thinks.
