TENS machines can bring on labour apparently

I was at my antenatal class yesterday and we were talking about pain relief... did you know that if you use the TENS machine before you go into labour it can potentially bring it on???!

I think if I go past my due date I will be sticking on the TENS machine as well as star jumps, doing the deed, nipple stimulation, foot massage, laughing, raspberry leaf tea, pineapples.... xx

Bit late for that now though. By the time I rent one and have it delivered I'll no doubt be in labour, and since I'm using the birthing pool, I won't be using a TENS during labour so there's not much point.

Will just have to try every other method under the sun to bring on labour lol.

well my friend had a foot massage and then laughed for about an hour at her husband- her waters popped straight after her laughing fit!
