Update on littlemansmum updated

I recieved a txt from littlemansmum's husband earlier 2day. She went for a blood test but was looking rough so was checked and they found she was contracting, thinned and soft. Shes currently in hospital, been given steriods. She was going to b given meds to stop labour but apparently consultant found out just in time and went ape as with the meds she's on at the mo it could have killed her!! So if she goes into full labour they can't stop it and they're going to give her a c-section. Apparently her body is pushing and she can't stop it but she's not dilated so it all sounds pretty horrible for her.

another txt at 2.18 said she'd had a show. They're gonna do a swab to check hormones.

another txt at 6.40 said she'd been contracting and pushing for 4 hours and is still waiting to see a doctor. She was given 2 paracetamol 3 and a half hours ago by a midwife and hasn't been seen again since!

Don't u just love the NHS?! poor luvs been thro loads lately i hope things pick up 4 her soon.

I'll keep u posted when i hear more.

Got a txt at 11.30pm: she's finally been seen by a dr. Its just a matter of waiting and seeing how things go. I passed on everyones luv and she thanked u all.

NHS? sorry lol i am kinda new to the abrevs. ...hope all goes well for her...sounds rough.. i am thinking about her.. how far along is she anyway?

NHS is the health system they have in the UK, they all use the same one, I'm still confused by it haha (I think it's free for them?)

She has the same due date as me so only 32 weeks!

Holy cow!!!! I'm 33 weeks and 2 days and freaking out mine will come early cause already went into premature labor and they had to stop it.. poor thing.. i know how she feels in a sense.. not all the difficulties she is faced with now.. but the whole early thing.. eek
