Scared

The thought of giving birth hasnt really phased me before, well actually it still doesnt, its got to be done, so no point worrying about it, but i am now bricking it that i wont actually know when im in labour!!! Is this stupid or wot?

I mean ive done it once before so kinda know what to look for, but last time things were pretty straightforward, waters broke, contractions started, went to hospital and had baby 6 hours later! Every little pain im thinkin is this the start?

I know im just being silly but i cant help but worry bout it!!!!!

im kind of the same, Charlie and ethan births were easy, waters broke first time so i knew what was happening, there is no mistaking that lol

On Coby i was induced so again i knew it was happening, for the week before on Coby i was having contractions on and off but they never went in to anything, so now im wondering wether i will regonise if it happens that way or not, or whether i will just pass them off as strong braxon hicks untill its to late! lol

Im nervous about it to be honest. I'm scared i'll keep bothering the labour ward or the midwife with false alarms as ive never experienced it before.

im no good with miles, how long is that in driving terms? lol

My hospital is a 35/40 min drive away down the motorway, my labours have halved each time.

Charlie was 12 hours from start to finish, no idea what teh esbalished labour time was, i dont go by that, Ethan was 6 hours, Coby was 3 hours, im so worried that if this one halves too i wont make it there in time, i can see Jase having to deliver the baby on the hard shoulder of the M4! ha ha!

When it happens, if its over night then i have to wash my hair, cant go in with it all sticking up, that will take up 10/15 mins, then i have to wait for the kids nan to get here to take over, its all a bit of a worry, wish i had teh guts for a home birth, would be so much simpler!

I worried I am going to make excuses for it not to be contractions say they are only BH. Its that or I wont want to be a pain in the arse and ring the labour ward lol.
