That's right, almost 37 weeks along and I still haven't packed my bag. I know, I should be ashamed. It's just I really have no idea what to pack. Any suggestions?

Yes.. the thread at the top of Third Trimester forum is brilliant. That's where I got my list from.

Don't worry... I hadn't packed mine till about 36/37 weeks either. I just made a list and did a supermarket sweep of what I needed. Took me a couple of days to put it all together though. Good luck!

After going through it best things i could suggest are

:Big Granny Pants and Lots of them!
:Pads
: Lots of Pj's As within the 1st 3 hrs after birth i had gone through 3 pairs with jacob being sich etc on me and i went through 2 in labour as they had to break me waters and i got soaked so changed then obviously gave birth so had to get changed again
:dressing gown for when your in labour and warm socks like big fluffy ones
: Music and player for in labour and after cause when baby is asleep all you have if the crap tv etc.
:camera charged and ready to go
:towels
:jogging suit for coming home ( i packed jeans aswell but was not one bit comfy in them after being cut below etc)
: Lots of clothes for baby I only took 3 of everything but i went through them within 6hrs or so, so OH had to dash home for more.
:water and sucking sweets
:birthing ball if they dont have one at hospital i know me hospital only had 3 for the whole ward so i didnt get on luckily i had me own on in the car so took that in.
:A lil bag or something to put babies things in like name tag, cot tag etc as i just stuff all mine in a bag but by time home they were all crumpled etc.
:change as alot of the tv's in wards are pay as you go. And also for snacks etc in hospital
: Mobile i was allowed mine on the ward so i was ringing people from me bed XxxX

Ema - even though I had already used the brill thread at the top of the page, your suggestions and summary was fab and really helpful - thank you! (esp. little bag for tiny baby/hospital things, and about how many baby clothes and PJs etc I might need in reality - things I just cannot gauge myself, not having done it before!). xx
