Q about crusty nips!

Ok so for a good long while I have had what I thought was dry skin on the ends but then read that it was probably milk - like yellow crusties that don't wash off?.............. so I decided that I wouuld be brave and pick them off one side....... Do you think this was the right thing to do?

Anyone else got the yellow crusties and if so what are you doing about it?

I asked my m/w a while ago whether I should let them toughen up or use some oil to soften them, and toughen up was the answer - but does this mean keep the yellow crusties?

I'm having a wobble that they could be blocking the holes or something

Hey hun...
I have them too. But not as bad as they used to be. Now more liquid than crusties :>
Best thing I found was when laying in the bathtub, put a warm cloth over my breasts. It softens the crusty and they were easily wiped off when I was washing myself.

Sounds like dry skin mixed with leakage. You can use a nursing cream to keep them moist and stop them from hardening. Also, might want to invest in a bra that allows your nipples to breath.

Good luck.
