They normaly dont like to induce for big babies, but if they dont think your body and pelvis will cope with the size then they will.

how much larger than dates were u measuring and how do they know if ur measuring ahead or just a large baby--- im scared of having a large baby cause i've been measuring ahead since 22 weeks but only by like 2cm and they ruled out diabetes---so it's like is it just a big baby--- or could he be taller than most---my husband's side is all really tall like 6 feet +
so could it be his length thats making me measure bigger as i've already been tested for diabetes and came back fine--- (although one ob wanted ultrasounds every two weeks from now on until delivery while my regular ob was ok with the measuring big) |

| lengh played a big part in Coby too, Jase is 6'6 and was 9lbs 5oz born, my dad is 6'1 and was 10lbs 3oz born.
I am 5'6 and was only 6lbs 12 oz born.
Coby weighted 9lbs 7oz and was 21 inches long, his head circ was 39 cm at 39 weeks.
I cant remember how big i was messureing but i know here if you messure 2cm above or below your weeks then its classed as normal, anything above and below that they send you for a growth scan to check your dates and size the baby, i can remember the consultant telling me at 36 weeks that Coby was messureing the size of a 39 week old baby, i laughed out of nervousness and he tol dme off saying it was seroius lol then booked me in for induction.
I dont think this baby is going to be as heavy, but i do think he will be around the 9lbs mark, and i have a feeling he will be long which is why im showing so big

I'm Currently Feeling: | awww he's gorgeous and so precious
both sides of the family baby weight was normal 7-8lb range so no large babies in the family --- so could possibly still be an issue with length like u said length played a part in urs |
