Hi my mum, Nanna, aunty and cousin ALL had preclampsia during their pregnancies therfore all had to be induced earlier. Does make it likely i'll get it also do you think?
There has been some research to suggest that there could be a hereditary link, but it is not a solid fact! So as long as your MW is aware of the family history, you will be monitored accordingly.
