well i'm not in the uk ---actually in the states (u.s.)
anyway---what i've been doing is buying the baby doll tops obviously the larger sizes and been able to get away with those for a while and almost all of them still fit now---
but what works best for me is buying minidresses and pairing them up with jeans or dress pants---they look great---actually have gotten lots of compliments on them=-=== most people cant even tell that they're dresses passed off as tops... besides --- i can still wear them after baby is born --- i try to avoid buying the super dressy ones (glittery and all that) and opt for like the casual ones that look great as tops
and as i'm only 5'4" and not as tall as most--- i aim for the shorter ones that either have a cute tie back strap or look like the baby doll tops===

well hope this helps

as for pants--- i bought all of mine used as i wasnt planning on wearing these after baby's birth so i got them from sales and stuff

but i did notice that mine all ended up being old navy pants and have found them to be quite comfortable and no they dont fall down---lol

thius is a massive bugbear oif mione. I am 6' and of course tall birds don't get pregnant, or so the shops think. Eevn the "tall" ranges that next do and funmum are too short, they do a 32 leg and its crap. Plus why do shops think that once you get pregnant all your fashion sense goes out the window. All I can see you have a choice of is either clothes that have no shape or design to them, or those tops that have the comedy slogans on. Mothercare are a nightmare, don't cater for me at all, and not a fan of next or DP either. I did get a nice jumper from NewLook Bloom range but the rest of the range is very hit and miss. Topshop were fab at one point, and did do Tall mat wear but they have stopped this. I emailed them and all they said is to keep looking to see what they release in the range. Saying that they do have some nice tops in at the moment but in the meantime I am lucky in that I can stiull fit into my normal trousers (only just though). I do have some mat clothes from when I was pregnant with Seren but I hate the thought of putting them on as I was so sick of wearing the bloody things the last time. Rant over!

I have to second Motherhood. I just went there this weekend and bought an entire new wardrobe. They had a lot of really cute clothes. A lot of them I would wear before I was pregnant. So I'll be able to wear them afterwards. Although, everyone tells me that I won't want to.

I'm 5'9" and I did have a hard time trying to find jeans that were long enough.
I got one paid that I can wear with flats, but I figured I'd wait until I was actually showing to buy another pair.
