uncomfy night!

I know i keep saying i cant wait for this baby to come out but i dont want him just yet lol...

Last night i really thought he might be coming, i could feel his head right in my pelvis, everytime he wriggled i felt him grinding on my bones (thats what it felt like anyway) it wasnt painful but it was such a strange feeling!

After him doing this for about an hour, he pushed down really hard sending a shooting pain down my belly, up my foo and down teh back of my legs, i tried doing my pelvic floor excersises and found it really hard, couldnt belive he could be that low down at this stage?? i really thought he might come out.

Has anyone else had this?

I've not had anything like that, I could be completely wrong here, but maybe it's because you are feeling so sensitive etc down there at the moment? you saying with your pelvic floor being a bit weak now. Thats all I could think it would be.

i get low movements alot but last night i could feel his head touching my pelvis bones. not sure if he actulay was or not, dont even know if thats possible at this stage but it really felt that way. I can do my pelvic floor excerses better now so he must have moved back up.

The excersises i do are i draw the pelvic floor muscles up inside, hold them for 5 to 10 seconds, then let them go, i dont know any other excersises for them. Does teh ball help with pelvic floor then?

Yer I felt like baby had touched the bone too 2 nights ago - we were lay in bed and I told him as it happened.

Think the ball is for the pelvic excercises yer but didn't know of any others you could do without the ball type thing

Hi ladies, I'm not as far along as you and I have no idea/experience with what your feeling; but I noticed you were asking about pelvic tilts. I do them a lot and they really do help. Just thought I'd post some info for you so you can see what they are and how they work, hope it helps:

Just to note: you can also do pelvic tilts when on all fours.

Hi Layla,

I can imagine that after giving birth to three children your pelvis floor muscles aren't that strong anymore!

but as it is with all muscles, it should be possible to train them. I would try to increase the amount of pelvis floor excerices you do already.

I also would talk to your mw regarding your concerns, as it sounds to me that you are worried cos of weak pelvis floor muscles he is coming to early!

did you ask your mw what she says regarding this?

maybe you can find some information on the net as well?

all the best, Angie

hi, thanks for the info.

I didnt phone my midwife about it coz i dont want to seem like an over reating mother to be lol i get really paranoid about what they think of me so i tend to keep things to myself alot.

If it happens again tho i will mention it, my mum gave birth to my sister (her 4th child) on the bathroom floor, she thought she needed the loo and out she popped! lol she was early too, i dont want that to happen to me.

Hi Layla,

I really wouldn't be bothered about what they think! and your concern is not unreasonable!

you are carrying baby number 4 and our bodys physically don't stay the same as when being 16 (would ne nice though )
