I see a lot of threads where ladies get a bit fed up of being so massive, and start hoping for something to happen from 37 weeks.

I wondered if anyone was like me, and does not feel ready yet?

I'm 37 weeks today, and I am so not ready! I'd like him to stay put in there for just a few more weeks. I don't think I'd mind getting to 41 weeks.

I'm avoiding pineapple, curry and all those things!

When do you want your baby to arrive?

Well i'm one of those asap people! simply because i would like my body back and everything has just gotten so bloomin painful! good on you for not being in a hurry it will make the last few weeks of your pregnancy a lot more enjoyable than mine will probably be, for you to think that way i bet bubs is nice and comfy in there too xxx

well tbh there are 2 bands playing who me and my mr. man adore... 1 is a week after my due date and the other is a month. so after the week after the gig would be fine, or to have twinges at the first gig would also be fine *hopes baby is taking note* as far as just for my own mind then atm with the pain im in with spd/pgp i'd take 37/38/39 weeks aaanyday! i feel mentally ready i'm done, really so done. with my 1st son i never had that ready/done feeling at all... i was always like whenever baby wants.

I would have been quite happy for baby to arrive any time after 38 weeks when I finished up at work. I'm just so uncomfortable now and dying to meet LO but it doesn't look like (s)he is going anywhere just at the moment, stubborn thing!

I dont want him to come on his due date, or in fact a day or so either side. Its my bfs bday on due date and i dont want them to have the same bday or near enough!

I would like to wait until 37 weeks. But now I recently found out my baby shower is being held when I'm 38 weeks. So now, I am hoping to go any time after the baby shower.

Reason being, we are not prepared for baby to come early. We were told by family and friends not to buy anything for the baby until AFTER the baby shower. So we have very little and would not be prepared if LO was to come earlier.

Even though my body says okay, it's time, cause I'm so uncomfortable and sleep has eluded me... but I still want to wait until term.

i feel like that ... im Due on a Wednesday and that whole week has at least 2 family birthdays per day .... its a nightmare week!
Id love it if my Lo stays put for a week over the due date so that he can have a birthday to himself lol xxx

Im happy to go over, I haven't mentally prepared myself to have the baby any earlier than the 9th !!!

Im quite lucky as the last few weeks have been quite easy for me, not in any pain, feel quite energetic and although I do have problems sleeping that is more due to the fact that oh likes to fidget and turn over at least 5 times per hour constantly waking me up !!!

The only thing that makes me nervous about waiting is the baby getting bigger and possibly being induced which id rather not be although at least that means I can give them advance warnings that I want a water birth !!! lol

hmm about a week ago i was perfectly content for baby to stay in the full two weeks over lol. but that was just cause I had nothing ready. Now that we got our apartment and everything ready I am screaming NOW lol.

I'm due June 1 and the whole time for whatever reason I've been thinking I'm gonna go early. But I want to at least make it to June. June is the ONLY month we have no birthdays at all in my family or his. And we have a ton of May birthdays including mine so I want to hold out, but I probably won't care at that point and will just want him out of me!!
