TBH I don't remember dwelling that much on this. All the info that the hospital gave us made it seem like you'd be mad not to. Having said that, I can't for the life of me remember why they gave it plus I don't remember it being given (though I know it was).
I'm opting for the oral drops. I actually don't see the point in the injection as it's to prevent a blood clotting condition which affects 1 in ten thousand babies (and most of those are already high risk), but the OH want's the sprog to get it so we compromised.
When i had Kai i knew nothing about this Vit K, i just looked blankly at the midwife when she asked how i wanted him to have it we decided on injection cos it was over there an then! Baby will also be havin it by injection too, i dont really know much about it though
Bethanie had it.. I listened to whatever they said, im sure they give it for good reason.. although stupidly, I don't actually remember what it was for (the midwife did say though).
