Could someone please help me define a show? Have i had one as i have some pinkish liquid? ive had no contractions but i had one sharpish pain at the top of my bump a few hours ago its lasted about 5 seconds?

I'm a bit clueless with this being my first too. I would ring the labour ward though hun!! (Well thats who Ive to ring out of hours).

My show was clear discharge (kind of like raw egg white lmao sorry) with threads of blood going through. It then turned into fairly heavyish bleeding and I eventually passed a "clot", I was panicking like crazy, but I rang the labour ward and she casually told me it was just my show.

Hope that helps, although this pain may just be braxton hicks ring your midwife just to check.

You can have a show and not go into labour, you just create more mucous to re-plug yourself lol.
As long as you don't get more pain I wouldn't worry.
Fingers crossed it's just your body practicing.
