are you allowed


to have a bath after your waters break?!?!

im sure someone said you cant .....
but i just wanna double check ..

I think you can as long as there no soap involved? They don't want any infection to occur, I believe is the reason they are cautious. I had a couple of showers after my waters broke but made sure to keep bath products away from that area ifywim

No.. I was told no.

And it makes sense, they don't want you putting anything up there, ie: fingers, tampons, etc after your water breaks so I'm sure water's no different

I thought it was ok. My hospital has tubs in the labor rooms, so you'd think it was alright?

Yes mine have just gone and lost all my plug!!!

Hospital have told me to have a clary sage bath try and speed contractions up
