looking for advise

Hey girls, i had my 36week mw appointment today, everything went good as far as i know. heartbeat was fine etc. She even told me bump has dropped alot again. So she was feeling about to see what way bubs was lying, and shes not sure if shes turned, so im booked in for a scan on monday. What happens if shes not in the right position? im kinda worried now as mw said i might not carry till full term and might go at 38weeks etc.

i just wanna know what will happen if shes not head down. xx

They may offer to try turn her or offer u a elective c section xxx

At 36 weeks if bubba is breech, it is likely the will offer you an external cephalic version to try and turn the baby to the right position. If this isnt successful, and baby is still breech, the midwife and consultant will discuss your options. Hopefully bubs is the right way round and you wont have any problems! xxx

Is this your first baby hun? I know you can still deliver breach but its alot easier if not your first according to my friend xx

I didnt think they let you do that anymore jms?

they still have time to turn chicken
some babies stay breech until
a few days before labour
there's still hope!!

but yea like everyone said they
cant actually turn baby from the
outside but apparently it kills
or they might send you for a section

either way fingers crossed
shes the right way and on the
bright side you get to see
little un again!

I think it depends on the person, my friend is a MW and says they do do it if mother is happy, well and can deliver ok. Also depends on size of baby, but most of the time its a C section xx

awww now im scared incase shes the wrong way round. as i think the only worry is a c section as i dunno if they'll let me give birth breech, yeh its my first baby hun
