Hi. I'm now 6 months and we're starting to look for a first car seat, but there are just so many! Is everyone else having this problem?
I just wanted to know how other people are deciding?
Are they all as safe as each other, or should I be going for a particular type of seat? Where can I go for advice? Are there particular features that I should look out for, or has anyone had problems?
I looked at the Which guide online and chose that way. You had to register to see but it doesn't cost you anything as long as you cancel within 30 days.
i think it depends on what pram you are looking for and if you have a car as alot of prams have car seats that attatch onto them to make things easier when travelling plus it depends on hjow much you want to spend as i have seen some that are very pricey but some that are suitable from birth+ which would last longer and even some that lie flat
With my first child we got a convertible seat from newborn to 18kg,my son who is 4ys old is still in this seat when he travels with his granddad.I found we got alot of value for money that way, with my second we have bought another of those seats and a full booster seat for my son, they are expensive but worth it cause with a capsule although they are more conveinent with transporting the child out of the car you have to look at getting another seat within months, this is just what worked for me .Goodluck
