It could be Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, its quite common in pregnancy. Many women experience pain, tingling or numbness in their thumb, index finger and ring finger. The symptoms may also effect the hand, wrist, and up your arm.
Its caused when the carpel tunnel that the nerves to the fingers runs through becomes swollen. The pressure results in the tingling, burning or pain. Apparently drinking plenty of water can relieve the symptoms (it reduces water retention that can increase the swelling), taking vitamin b6, or wearing a wrist splint.
Often the symptoms will disappear after the baby is born.
