| well Nicky is here- but I will post an announcement later, plz read as I need advice Hi girls, well my lil boy was born fri 28th september at 7.34am weighing 8lb 3oz-
The delivery, labour, etc couldnt have been much worse, infact it was worse than I had ever imagined it would be.
I didnt have a 'normal' delivery, I was admitted on the wed and didnt give birth til fri, and wasnt allowed home til 5pm today- so not brilliant at all- It was a forceps delivery, amoungst everything else, with complications too, and I lost loads of blood!
Anyway, like I said, I will post my birth announcement soon but for now I would like to know why on earth I still look pregnant? Im not over reacting either, my bump is basically still there, only its flab- drs said I will have to really work hard on it, but I dont understand why I still have a pregnancy bump. Yes I only gave birth yesterday, but is this normal or what? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Congratulations
Don't worry about your tummy, it will definitely go down once your uterus goes back to it's original size. You will most likely need to work at your tummy a bit, over 9 months later.. mine is still flabby and makes me unhappy! but don't overwork yourself for now, eat healthily and most importantly, enjoy your new baby. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Congratulations hun, welcome to the world Nicky!
My tummy took ages to lose the "bump", and even then I never ever lost the flab!
But you have a beautiful boy to feast your eyes on, it will go down eventually xxxx |

Sorry to read you had a complicated delivery- But I bet your lil boy is just gorgeous!
Don't worry about the belly - I too have a post baby belly, it does go, I promise! - Just remember that until your uterus settles back into your pevis, your going to have a swollen belly anyway.
Hope you are both doing well! |

| Congrats Louise and STOP worrying. The birth bit is over and you have delivered a beautiful baby to be honest I wouldnt even THINK about your body yet as there will be many changes before it goes back to normal. At least your boobs arent like spaniel ears like mine lol
How you doing other than that are you a little sore? i had an episiotomy with Chloe and they hurt like mad but lots of baths with a little baby bath in helped me and have the bath warm not hot also Lavendar Oil is fab.
Aww bless cant wait to see some pics of your darling.
