Feeling a lot better now!


Now that I have my GD diet and I've started eating better, I feel a lot better about the whole thing. I had tuna salad on a whole wheat bun whole wheat crackers and some cheese dip. Carrots and ranch veggie dip for dinner. (I didn't feel like actually cooking so it was a sandwich night)
I'll probably have a yogurt for a snack tonight.
I haven't gotten my glucometer yet so I hope I do tomorrow after eating healthy for a few days. I'm curious to see if my sugars went down. Wish me luck!!

Weee sounds great! I think I get mine tuesday. When are you getting yours? I keep thinking I dont even have enough time to be a diabetic LOL by the time i get my meter and am on my diet and used to it baby will be here.

Been testing for three days now. Sugars are pretty good so far!! I'm excited cause I can still eat potatoes! I had a few high numbers but I can attribute them to what I ate (had a bit too big of a portion of rice). The nurse said that's ok once in a while as long as you can explain it.

So far so good. And I'm almost 29 weeks and baby is measuring 27 so he's not big yet. I'm having nightmares about a 12 lb baby! Lol
