Foot Spas encourage labour/contractions ?

I'm sure when I was expecting Caitlin people said foot spas were a no in pregnancy as it can encourage labour/contractions like reflexology can.

Anyone heard this before?

I think there's a spot at the base of the ankle, just above the heel, that can bring on labor. At this stage, you might as well go for it Wobbles!

Mmmmmmm im not to sure on this one,

Im a beauty therapist and have heard before that some salons don't use the vibrations when doing pedicures on pregnant women but I have never had a problem myself whilst doing them and ive had pedicures and footspas the whole way through this pregnancy with no hint of a problem.

I would go for it, if nothing else you will have lovely soft feet after !

A friend of mine swears by this ... or did! She had her first two children the day after using a foot spa, but went over by a full two weeks with her latest LO! Worth a try though, relaxing if nothing else!!!
