Hope it all goes well for you!! I was petrified when I had my show as well, and the contractions get BAD lol.. but like everyone said in a short time you will be holding your little baby and all the pain is definitely worth it in the end!!!

You're probably already progressing well at this point?? so hope it's going great. wishing you a quick/problem free labour.

Hey girls, I WISH i'd had my baby by now.
So I get to the hospital, tell them about the awful show I had this morning, (and when I say it was heavy I mean heavy), they tell me its a sure sign especially since within an hour or so the contractions came on and strong too.
So they put me on the monitor and tell me I am in slow labour but the baby is not ready to come yet (that was then) They then basically tell me they have 'no room' for me and that I may have to come back in a couple of hours!
So I go home, head out shopping and the pains are coming, and real bad too.
It's like something was squeezing my cervix- I also had the horrible urge to push, like I needed to poo real bad! The pressure was so bad that I couldnt even force a pee out-
By this time I was in tears because the pain was so bad, and I was getting 3 contractions in a space of like 4 minutes.
Then I began getting excruiating tightenings where they would last for quite some time, it was as though they were never going to go away- my tummy was very VERY tight and the pain was EVERYWHERE. I called the hospital and they tell me to take paracetamol and walk around my house for a while until it becomes unbearable.
Now maybe im just stupid, but is this normal???
Im stil in agony and nobody seems to give a crap; I dearnt even go to the toilet properly because I have a horrible horrible urge to push him out!

What do I do?

Good Luck Louise....Maybe just go back to the hospital. Maybe you can walk around the halls there so you are close by?

Have your waters broken? I think for your own peace of mind you should maybe go back to the hospital. Good luck, and don't take any crap from anyone.

Have they examined you to see if you are dilated at all,i know hun what you are going through I had three weeks of this and spent most of it in tears.
If you can just get to 4cms they can break your waters. How far past are you?
I would go there and elaborate even further cry and get all hysterical if you have to just do what is best for you. you sound as if you could do with a bit of Gas and Air hun it is awful isnt it?
