I found this info on Super Nanny website: http://www.supernanny.co.uk/Advice/-...Induction.aspx
Evening Primrose/Raspberry Leaf Tea from 34 weeks .... I'm thinking about it.
I'm interested in acupuncture also |

| The rasbery tea gets your womb ready for labour i think, i dont think it can start you off, not heard of the primrose oil before, might give that ago
The reflexology works by pressing certian points in your foot that are linked to your womb/ovaries etc. its meant to stimlulate the organs in to working..i think, something like that anyway lol. im pretty sure its around your ankle bones that you need to press firmly (according to my text books) but i will find out for sure on Thursday in my next lesson and let you know.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yeah right, remind him of that when you are asking for it every day My OH thought it was his birthday.
I am a bit sceptical, I tried all of those things but Seren didn't come out till she was ready. I think they help trigger labour if the cervix is ready but if not then nothing will get it going. |

yeah i agree with that, if your body isnt ready then you could try everything but it wont work, i was having DIY sweeps every night but Coby still didnt come out lol had alot of contractions but they never amounted to anything.

I'm Currently Feeling: | I did the castor oil. On the 19th of July 00 I had the castor oil and oranges and then early hours of the morning on the 20th July I was getting terrible cramps and ended up with the runs ( sure cleaned out my bowel) then I went back to sleep only to wake at 5:30am with more terrible cramps and then 30min later my waters broke, and we flew to the hospital ( have short labours) and then with in an hour of arriving I was holding my 3rd baby boy. I think it only works if your body is ready to go into labour, I believe it does give it that kick start. | | | | Status: Offline
