Baby Movements (again lol)

Just wondered how often you feel baby moving & how hard (can't think of better word) they are? LAst week baby movements were so obvious very real and hard movements ... do you know what I mean?

Last few days they have been noticeable but not quite so hard soft movements still feels like fluttering (maybe more than when they first came obvious) - this ok?

Maybe I've just got use to it! Just the other night it felt like she booted me coz it hurt but nothing like that since.

Yes, they're awful little buggers aren't they, when they're kicking and it hurts you want them to stop but then when you don't feel it for a while all you want is to feel some kicking!

The same thing happened to me, I felt a lot of hard kicking but it turned into more of stretching and twisting and turning. This is because the baby is getting bigger and has less room to actually swing the leg for a good kick. But you get used to it, it's very funny to see it stretching so that the belly is askew for a moment.

Can you remember how often you would feel your ikkle one about a month ago Istar?

One site says on week 30/31 I think 10 movements in 1 hour - someone told me that was nonesense it wasn't like that for them.

Well it's not 10 movements every single hour, it means, that when activities start, you should be able to pretty much count 10 movements during the next hour.

If you are worried though, you should drink some juice and lay down, that usually gets mine going.

I saw that online Wobbles, supposedly you're supposed to count 10 movements each hour but every mother that I have asked about it claims that is ridiculous and there will be times when you don't feel anything. They were only told to worry if after 2-3 days they had not felt anything at all.

Still waiting for my kicking stages though. For now I just have the lil flutters that feel more like gas pains to me.

my movements are up and down, one day he will be moving and sticking his knee or elbow out, the next i only get little popping feelings for kicks.

I always thought it was 10 movements a day, not an hour! blimey, that seems alot to expect in one day lol

Yeah I was led to believe the same as Layla that it was 10 movements in a 24 hour period you were supposed to feel.

The other day I was paranoid I hadn't had many movements but when I went for a bath that night I felt loads and realised that wee shifts and shakes were the baby (I probably hadn't noticed these in the day when I'm busy etc).

It could be that your baby has turned into a different position so that the kicks are in a different place that you aren't used to. Olivia was back to back all the way through so all her kicks were to the front of my belly and really obvious.
