No Chlamydia is transmitted through sex only hun, you are fine

Genital warts and lice can however be passed on through towels, bedding etc..

Nibblenic is right but they can do a urine test at the hospital to be sure as if by remote chance you did have it...Chlamidia can give baby a nasty eye infection of it's way "out" so you may need treatment. But it's highly unlikely you have caught it this way.

Get your own towel in a distinctive colour so you don't get muddled and squeezy shower gel is much more hygienic than sharing soap me thinks

I wouldnt have thought you could catch it this way but maybe worth speaking to your midwife/gp to put your mind at rest

I agree, when living with others I would have separate towels that perhaps you keep in your room and take with you when you shower. I doubt chlamydia can be passed through towels but it's still not nice to think someone else has used the towel before you! Perhaps just you and your partner could share one. Also liquid soap is a much better solution for people living together, as is shower gel for washing with.
That way you wont worry in future xxx

Make sure you are using your own towel/soap...................everything when you come out of hospital hun

As you will have a wound where youve had the baby. And you dont want to be coming into contact with anything they maybe wipeing on the towels. Just to make sure you dont get any type of infection, let alone an STI!
