had cramping today and the midwife wanted me to come in. I've been here since 830 and it's now almost 1am. Everything is fine. I'm just waiting on a few test results. I'm STARVING and I have to work at 730am. Ugh. I'm glad everything is fine and normal but seriously get me the F out of here!!!!

not really. I work in retail and it's frowned upon. We just left so I'll get 6 ish hours of sleep. Maybe I can leave early from work at least.

so now that I'm awake I'll tell y'all what they did to me...they hooked me up to the monitors and took my BP and temp. At one point I heard a nurse say something about a cath. I was like noooooooo! Can we negotiate??? She said no the midwife wants a clean sample. I was like well I'm not dirty!!! LOL so after one nurse tried and couldn't get it in another one got it and it didn't hurt at all! LOL then the midwife came on and said she was waiting on the urine and was going to do a fetal fibronectin test which was pretty much like a pap. But it hurt like HELL when she cranked open the speculum!! And then she checked my cervix which hurt too!!! Anyone else experience this!? Why did it hurt?? It's never hurt before!!!

But yeah this all took 5 hours including the time we had to wait for the results. Ugh. At least I went up to labor and delivery and not the ER. Their waiting room was packed!!!

So now that I'm actually on my computer and not my phone trying to type fast, I can tell an entire story, without it taking forever. So when we were at the hospital, my husband was sitting in a chair next to my bed and he looked at me about 5 minutes after we got there and mouthed the words "I have to shit" and held onto his stomach. Well, keep in mind we were in a room with three beds separated by curtains with a bathroom in the corner. There was one other woman in there, but was moved to an actual birthing room pretty soon after we got there. I said to him, well, you're gonna have to wait, there are too many people in here. The woman was moved so it was just my nurses coming in and out every once in a while. He kept holding his stomach and I finally said JUST GO. He said no no I can hold it. I'm ok. 15 minutes go by and he gets up and says, yeah I gotta go NOW. So at this point, there was this trainee nurse in the room with me and no one else. She was waiting for her training nurse to come in to check her work on something. The TV was on from the woman that had just left, but not very loud. Next thing I know, I hear...
PFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT from the bathroom. I was MORTIFIED!! Then a few seconds go by. PPPPPPPPFFFFTTTTTTTTTT I could plain as day hear my husband pooping in the bathroom. I quickly asked the nurse to hand me my purse and sent him a text message that said OMG I CAN HEAR YOU!! I couldn't stop laughing. I kept turning my head away from the nurse, trying to hold in the laughter. I was CRYING I was laughing so hard. My whole body was shaking because I was trying to hold it in. This went on for 5 minutes and after 2 flushes, he came out. As soon as I saw him, I lost it. Laughing uncontrollably. The nurses probably thought I was nuts. THEN, the nurse had given me privacy information while he was in there and I sat it on his chair. She said "oh that's just some reading material for you" He said "could have used that in there!" and pointed at the bathroom. I lost it again! OMG Maybe you had to be there but we were both hysterically laughing! Helped cheer me up!
