Just wanted to share that I gave birth naturally to a healthy baby boy - 8 pounds, 3 ounces, at exactly 9pm on Tuesday 11th September.
I had been induced at 10am that morning. Only needed one gel to put me into labour. At 4.55, they broke my waters, used gas and air, and one shot of pethedine for pain relief.
I tore, and needed stiches. The next day they came away, and am really sore although bleeding is easing a little.
Joey is gorgeous, dark blue eyes which may burn brown, and med brown - blonde hair. I'll get photos up asap.
Last night was my first night home, found it tough as breastfeeding, waiting for community midwife to come now.
