Constant pain in the bottom of back

Any of you have this - its the achey dull period feeling right at the bottom of my back slightly leading round to bottom and side of lower tummy only constant for like 2 hours! It dies down in how sharp it is but doesn't completely go away.

Its not curl in ball pain either but maybe has been like it for 2 hours?!

Hun, go to the hospital and get checked out just to be safe.

Consistant lower back pain is a sign of pre-term labour.
Hopefully it is just the baby pressing on your sciatic nerve.

Good luck Mellisa

Rav I have no other signs just this so I didn't/don't think it was a labour sign without some mild tighenings contractions?! Babe feels like shes dropping out though < has done for a lil while though

Might get a warm bath after food which is on.

I would def get checked hun. Text book labor is not actually how it happens. My cousin was full blown 10 cm dialated and just about to push and all she had were period cramps. Hugs

I've also been having this Find a warm bath, hot water bottle, heating pad, etc. to be the best source of relief. My doctor just keeps telling me not to worry about it argh! It's hard not to worry when it NEVER goes away!!

Could be either weight of baby or your moving pelvis pressing on your sciatic nerve. I have SPD and because my pelvis is on the move it has bruised and squashed my sciatic nerve, everyone's pelvis to some degree during pregnancy.
I suggest putting your feet up and a hot bath too, though if the pain gets intense and bruised a cold pack for 10 minutes or so is the best thing.

Then again I've never been in labour so can't say is this is early labour

xxx
