I have sciatica too and have had it since early in pregnancy and im still struggling with it. Personally i havnt found anything that makes a drastic improvement, when i gets really bad i take a paracetamol but personally feel like its just something you have to deal with. The support belt may help you but it didnt do much for me. Soz to hear your in pain with it, its a pain in the ass (literally) Kx

hun I have it too and it is so painful I find good painkillers (codydramol) a hot bath and then a hot water bottle tend to help the pain. Hope one of these works for you xxxx

At night sleep on your side with a firm pillow between your legs and your head on a pillow - this makes nighttime a bit more comfortable.

Try not to lift things eiter.

I find paracetamol doesn't do much either.
I'm waiting for mine to flare up again any day now

Hope it gets better

**prepares to be laughed at**

ok this is going to sound REALLY wacky, but honestly i swear by it when i have sciatica!! If you have a shop near you that sells crystals,go and have a look if they sell one called 'citrine' its is kind of clearish orangey colour, run it under a cold running tap and imagine that you are washing off all the negativity that it might have picked up from being handled in the shop. When you have done that, just place it on a window sill over night( this is to 'charge' it full of energy-usually by moonlight)-or in the window sill in sunlight or an hour or so!......i did tell you it sounded wacky!!!

When that is done get a couple of plasters or even a couple of pieces of sellotape and put them sticky side up and place the citrine in the centre of it,then find the spot on your back/butt cheek that the pain appears to start and tape it on there. Leave it for as long as is comfy for you. You might need to do this a couple of times over a couple of days.

The first time i did this for mine i had been having several attacks over a space of a few weeks, but the first time i tried this i didnt have an attack for over a year!! When mine started again a few weeks ago,the first thing i did was cleanse my citrine, charge it and taped it on....i did this twice and nothing happened..........why?.....because it wasnt sciatica i had it was the start of spd!!
