Who will be first to hold your baby at birth you or your partner?

I planned to be the first to hold Brooke after she was born but i felt so sick i let her daddy hold her instead lol

Well tecnically it will be me , As he will be placed on my chest staright after birth , But first cuddles go to OH . x .

My OH.....I had an emergency section with my first baby and a planned c-section with my second baby, so yet again OH will do the honours!

I am happy for him to get the chance as when the families arrive we don't get a look in!

OH doesn't want to hold him sticky, so he is all mine! I want him delivered straight onto my chest, for immediate skin-to-skin contact.

I had cuddles with both of them first, i only held paige for a little bit, because i was worried i was goin to drop her...i was pretty out of it on gas and air!! lol x x

Im not sure. I havn't made up my mind whether i want her to be put straight on my chest or cleaned up first. I want OH to have the first proper cuddles though

I was first though I was so weak from giving birth (and they were stitching me up which hurt like hell) so I relinquished her to DH after a few minutes
