castor oil!!!

Its my due date tomorrow and my midwife is giving me a sweep which i really dont want to have but im so desperate to meet my litle man, anyway i wanted to try and move things along today so took 2oz of castor oil with orange juice and ive been sick as a dog all day and havent been off the toilet (sorry if this is too much info) have a horrible ache in my pelvic area now but cant go to the toilet, is this supposed to happen? and just wondered if anyone has used castor oil and if it has worked xx
