MW - baby's position

When does the MW start checking the baby's position? Mine hasn't yet, prob still a bit early! All I know is at my last scan at 20 weeks he was breech. I've tried feeling my tummy myself but its hard to tell lol. I have an appointment 2moro with MW thats all and was just curious

My midwife started from 24 weeks, the first time she felt for his head it hurt but the last 2 times it didnt, suppose his head is easier to feel now! Think your midwife should defo do it tomorro, if not then I would ask her! Good Luck xxx

my midwife wouldnt check until my 28 week appointment before that was apparently 'too early' so just ask your midwife to check it at your appointment and she will tell you. I can however tell the difference between when shes head down or not. Ceph position feels heavy, lots of pressure!! When Lo was trans i couldnt feel a thing! x

I am being checked now for position, but think it's more to check the size. MW Says they generally don't worry about the position until 36-38 weeks. I know this one still turn up and down and transverse etc. LOL SO not to worry!
