| MW - baby's position When does the MW start checking the baby's position? Mine hasn't yet, prob still a bit early! All I know is at my last scan at 20 weeks he was breech. I've tried feeling my tummy myself but its hard to tell lol. I have an appointment 2moro with MW thats all and was just curious  | | | | Status: Offline

ive had about 7 some have told me
some haven't ...
but she wont think you're strange
for asking!!

| My midwife started from 24 weeks, the first time she felt for his head it hurt but the last 2 times it didnt, suppose his head is easier to feel now! Think your midwife should defo do it tomorro, if not then I would ask her! Good Luck xxx | | | | Status: Offline

| my midwife wouldnt check until my 28 week appointment before that was apparently 'too early' so just ask your midwife to check it at your appointment and she will tell you. I can however tell the difference between when shes head down or not. Ceph position feels heavy, lots of pressure!! When Lo was trans i couldnt feel a thing! x | | | | Status: Offline

| I am being checked now for position, but think it's more to check the size. MW Says they generally don't worry about the position until 36-38 weeks. I know this one still turn up and down and transverse etc. LOL SO not to worry! | | | | Status: Offline

| my mw had a feel around 28 weeks, but until nearer 34 weeks never showed ne interest in position, but at 36 weeks if wasnt head down i would have been sent for another scan | | | | Status: Offline
