need advice!bit of a rant!

Just thought id see what everyone thought, to see if im being out of order or not.
basically me and my husband moved down south 3 years ago for his work.he plays football and his parents come and watch him every game, so every home game they come and stay with us.which if a sat game there her fri,sat n go home sunday afternoon and then there bk the tues and go home wed morning if there is a tues night game so basically half the year there here.n ive had enough i feel like we get no time to ourselves. and i dont think i will cope once the baby is here, now my plan is to tell my husband that from the end of march i dont want anyone staying in the house?do you think im being out of order?as ive let them stay for so long,they dont even ask anymore they just come its like a routine for them.

anyone thoughts our much apprieciated, good or bad.

i don't think your out of order at all you need your own time together, but does your hubby or his family know that you feel this way. maybe it is worth speaking to them about it, i don't see why they have to come on a fri night either, would it not be easier on everyone if they could at least come sat afternoon and go sunday? and maybe not the mid week games. if they spend that much time at yours and i guess r not working have they thought about moving closer?

I would tell your other half ho you feel. I wouldnt be able to cope if people kept dropping in on us. Be honest, you are going to be a family and you have the right to your own home xxx

I dont think your out of order at all. That would drive me mad. Maybe you could suggest a compromise where they only come once a month instead of every week?

Hey Pinkylisa! Didn't wanna read and run!

If its making you feel this way then you need to put a stop to it hun, I would go crazy if my parents or the in laws were at our house that much throughout the week! Yeh nice that there being supportive of your OH's footie interest but having them stay there in your house 3 nights a week is way to much! You need time as a couple to be on your own and they need to realise this.
There is nothing wrong with thinking of yourself specially in your own house!

thanks girls, its been a problem since we moved here and i always talk to my husband about it but this parents dont seem to get the message.they've watch him at every game since he first kicked a ball so i dont expect them to suddenly not come but i just want them to stay in a hotel, its only going to be for april and may because then were moving back up north.so its not like im going to say dont ever come again ive had enough.i just want space, im going to talk to my husband tonight about it just dont think its guna go down to well but ive been putting it off for to long.
