Antenatal Classes - When?

Hi ladies

How many weeks were you when you started your antenatel classes, my midwife suggested when I'm 34 weeks but that sounds a little late to me!

i start mine tomorrow and ill be 31 weeks.

thats about right, i was just over 34 weeks and we had 2 classes, 3 hours each on a saturday! x

i had my first class last week so 33 weeks

i was due to be on the march course but managed to get on feb courses due to my prem labour...

they advise you to have them quite late on so you remember it all! i had my last one when i was 37 weeks!

I started mine last week at 34 weeks, I think they do it so its all fresh in your brain!
I'll be interested to see how many people are on it for the whole 4 weeks and havn't already had their babies!

In my area you start them about 32-34 weeks.

I was meant to start mine at 32 weeks but didnt cause the weather conditions, now i will do them at 35 weeks for 3 weeks, so will finish at 37weeks. I thought this was a bit late but hopefully it means less chance of forgetting things LOL. X

I only get one class at 36 weeks (was going to have it the other week but it was cancelled because of the snow)

I'm also going to a water birth workshop at 37 weeks.. nothing like leaving things till the last minute
