Hair removal cream - tried and tested lol

Just thought i would give you ladies a heads up. My skin is extra sensitive pre and during pregnancy so i find it very hard choosing make up, body creams etc.

I braved it and bought Nair Sensitive hair removal cream and tried some. It worked a treat and did not irritate my skin atall!

I was shocked but il be using that before labour! xoxoxox

I WISH I could use hair removal cream. I normally wax myself but obviously not possible at all now so I really should book in at a salon but if I could use the cream I would.

I had a really bad reaction in the summer to it tried 3 different brands including the nair sensitive and they all caused an outbreak of spots that are only just starting to go now !!! I think I must have an allergy to an ingredient that is used in all of them, whatever it is its a pain as although im used to having my bikini line waxed I won't be able to really tell if the therapist has done a good job without getting a mirror out lol

You ladies are very lucky.
I have been using immac cream for sensitive skin for years with no problems.
My due date was yesterday so midweek i thought i'd do my legs in case but i regret doing it now. Within an hour of removing the cream my legs blistered and became very sore, red and irritated. I haven't done anything differently to normal and i have used it previously whilst carrying this baby.
My guess is that as i am due my hormones are playing up and didn't like it so just go careful doing it too close to your due date.

Good luck ladies

xx

My mum's forbidden hair removal cream from our house... ever since I left it in the bathroom cabinet and she went to brush her teeth without her glasses on. She ended up in the poison's unit at the hospital... oops!

It does sound like it's the way forward though - I dunno if I could cope with going to get waxed at a salon... I'd be too embarassed! (*Note to self* Will obviously have to get over such embarassment before going into labour!)

Has anyone tried (and succeeded in) shaving, or is that just dicing with death?!
