Braxton Hicks or Preterm Labour?!?! HELP!!!

Okay ladies... I really need the experienced moms out there to help me out here.

The past few days, my stomach has been doing to tightening feeling and becoming rock solid. Braxton Hicks I'm pretty sure.
But tonight, the tightening is stronger and more consistant (been for the last couple of hours) and accompied by a throbbing lower back and cramps in my lower bump area?!?! Tried to change positions in bed, but it didn't help any.

No blood, and baby still moving around.
Your thoughts please!

From my experience hun I THINK you should have show first...I'm sure there are other ladies on here that will prob know better..With my son I had a show about 6 hours before I went into labour...it could just be BH's...Have you had a busy day? I find I get cramps if I have been doing too much..try to rest today if you canhope they calm down soon for you

Actually a very quiet day.

I have been having the tightening in my bump for several hours now, and it does not seem to be letting up any. If anything, stronger.

Need to pee frequently, but no sign of mucas plug or blood yet. And the back ache, is that normally a part of Braxton Hicks? It's a strange dull throbbing in my lower back, that seems to also go down my right leg.

I'm really worried, because at my 3D ultrasound on Tuesday, the embilico cord was wrapped around the baby's neck. And LO has been extremely active for the last 2 days because I had my glucose screening test yesterday morning.

Well, woke up hubby at 3:30am to go to the labour and delivery at the local hospital. Was put on monitor and waited.

Was having contractions yep... They took urine for testing for a bladder infection, but the contractions were not labour contractions. Just good old braxton hicks with back pain. Yeah ... a sign of what I will go through in 13 weeks (give or take a week).

Will find out results of the urine test tomorrow or so. They will call.

Nurse was a snot. Felt like I was inconviencing her.

Baby is still moving. Braxton hicks are still going on, and my stomach/back are sore. I'll definitely mention to my OB on the 26th.
