Are clear blue HPTs accurate? 14 and 16dpo bfn.

Hye all. I have a regular 28 days cycle. I have never been late. I can even tell what time i will start spotting. I am now 3 days late. Tested with clearblue at 14dpo and 16dpo (today) all bfn. My cervix is soft and squishy and cant feel the tip. At this time, if AF was due the tip would be hard and slightly open. I know because thats how i know AF is due. My CM is white lotion like and i dont have cramps. Only twinges here and there and mostly near the belly button.

My question is are clearblue accurate or should i go and buy another test? Since they are expensive i thought they were the most accurate and i waited until the day of my expected period.

And also, has anyone ever had a bfn at 16dpo and ended up getting bfp?

I am so anxious. I dont want to make an appointment with the doc until i am atleast 10 days late.

I thank you for any response you will give me.

Try a first response early one. I got a BFN at 12dpo then a BFP at 14dpo with my previous pregnancy. So it is possible to have a negative then a positive later xx
